Born as logistic support in the year 1969, offered hospitality to workers that contributed to the construction of the townĆs industrial zone. Today a hotel with 39 rooms (single, double or three bed rooms) that offers hospitality to 63 people. All rooms are with WC, bath, telephone and TV. The hotel offers also an outstanding restaurant service and a large parking site. It is located between the centre of Trieste and the industrial zone, near the border with Slovenia and a few minutes from the Val Rosandra natural park (an ideal place for lovers of excursions in nature). The hotel location is easy to reach both by car or by public transport. Frequent buses (n. 20, 21, 23, 40 and 41) reach the centre of Trieste and the railway station.

The last highway station and pay-toll (Trieste Lisert) is quite far from the centre of Trieste, but the highway continues toll-free and reaches the town. Follow the indications for industrial zone and Via Flavia. At this point take the second street on the left and then the second on the right. After 300 m you will see us on the right hand side. We are visible with a bright light: HOTEL SONIA.
Our restaurant
Our restaurant service is open to everyone, not only the hotel guests. In this way we are able to offer a large choice of food, fresh everyday and not pre-cooked or frozen. The meals are typical from our place. The dining room in the picture is intended for about 80 people, but there are two more dining rooms, one for 100 people and the other for 20 people. Opening time for guests: from 12 to 14 and from 19 to 21 oĆclock.
Our bar
The bar is open from 6 oĆclock in the morning until midnight and offers an excellent service. By us you can also play Totocalcio, Totogol, Totosei, Totip and Superenalotto and try your lack. The bar is open to everyone and is a comfortable place where you can always find someone if you seek for information or for a chat
